So this is the rat rod experiment i was talking about. Mostly the same method as that of the mini, but i didn't go nuts with the splatters on this one like i did before. I stuck to the grunge brushes and created a white border beforehand, keeping it relatively clean.
I also played around with deactivating some channels, to play with the color combos and resulting detail. Seeing the warm color scheme, i was inspired to create a classy-looking header out of the picture and some vectored words. Fun stuff, Illustrator CS4... So yeah, i had turned off the cyan channel just for the effect. Like the last one, i uploaded this one as a .psd for you people to play with, and the layer with the cyan channel is still there in case you want to see what it looks like. Remember, hit 'download' to get the .psd file Yeah, don't you guys think this will look like the dog's bollocks on an actual shirt? |
