This is my entry for '

aint an emotion' as an abstract painting. When i think of 'abstract painting' i think of my usual stuff. Maybe it's not as much painting as it is graphic design, but meh...

Anyway, explanation time. Humanity is a surprisingly resilient race. No matter how much shit we take, we are always able to wipe it off and keep going, sometimes even with a smile. Through 10,000 years of famine, disease, warfare, and general hitting of shit against fans, humanity has stood strong and later laughed it off. No matter how deep we bury ourselves, our smiles will shine through.

I think your description was pretty accurate to the painting actually, but if I hadn't had your explanation I'm not sure what I would have come up with on my own...

hmm. I'm not sure how to take this. Unfortunately, I read your description before I had formed any ideas about the piece, so it's hard to judge it correctly. I see chaos, distress, and a bit of madness with the huge laughing face in the middle of all this disorder. I guess you hit your goal, eh?
